Location and Description

Flat Creek Trail.  General clean-up and debri removal due to the recent fire.

Where to Meet and Directions

We will meet at the Deep Gap Parking Area early to facilitate parking for volunteers.  Deep Gap Parking Area is located 4-miles east on Aska Rd on the right coming from Blue Ridge.

What to Wear and Bring

We will work rain or shine. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, including: work gloves, long pants, boots (preferred) or sturdy shoes. No open-toed shoes allowed! Volunteers are also encouraged to wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and carry any personal medical supplies (ie. epi- pen, insulin, inhalers).  Volunteers must wear helmets when performing work on USFS property.  Helmets will be provided. 

Water and snacks will be provided.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring a small backpack to carry personal supplies.

Tools will be provided.
