NGMBA has signed a Land Use Agreement with Georgia DNR, Wildlife Division - Cartecay Tract. This is a first since the Cartecay Tract mountain bike trails inception in the early 1980's. This agreement recognizes NGMBA as the organization that maintains and develops reroutes using IMBA Trail Standards. We have engaged Keith McFadden, professional trail designer to work with the Wildlife Division officers to come up with a plan that meets the objectives of a WMA and trail users. Keith is willing to work with volunteers who want to learn more about trail design, layout and construction. We see this as a Hybrid Trail Build between a professional trail builder and volunteers.
